Refund Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Template notice: This Refund Policy is a plain-English template and should be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel, with the bracketed placeholders completed, before you rely on it.

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid Does It Flood? subscriptions. It is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use.

1. Subscription Billing

Paid plans are offered on a recurring monthly or annual basis. When you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method the applicable fee at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. All fees are stated and charged in U.S. dollars.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your plan stays active through the end of the current paid billing period.
  • You keep access to paid features until that period ends.
  • Your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again.

Cancelling stops future charges; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund of amounts already paid.

3. Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, we generally do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or fees already paid. When you cancel, you simply retain access through the period you have already paid for.

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund as a goodwill gesture in appropriate cases — for example, a duplicate charge, a clear billing error on our part, or a charge you contact us about promptly after an unintended renewal. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and may take several business days to appear.

4. Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If we offer a free trial or introductory rate, the terms of that specific offer will be presented at sign-up and control. Unless stated otherwise, a paid subscription begins automatically when a trial ends, and you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

5. Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change applies to future billing periods, and we will provide notice before it takes effect so you can cancel if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

6. How to Request Help

If you have a billing question, believe you were charged in error, or would like to request a refund, please cancel any unwanted renewal in your account settings and contact us. Include the email address on your account and the date and amount of the charge so we can help quickly.
