Template notice: These Terms are a plain-English template and should be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before you rely on them.
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Does It Flood? website and services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Does It Flood? provides flood risk data, analysis, AI-generated narratives, and related information based on public data sources and crowdsourced reports. The Service is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, official government determinations, or a guarantee of safety. See our Disclaimer for important limitations.
Important Disclaimer: The materials on Does It Flood?, including all flood zone data, the proprietary 0–100 risk score, and any AI-generated narratives or recommendations, are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the data.
The 0–100 risk score is a proprietary estimate generated by our own model—it is not an official FEMA flood determination, an insurance rating, or an actuarial calculation. AI-generated narratives and recommendations are produced by automated language models, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and must not be relied upon as professional, surveying, engineering, insurance, financial, or legal advice. Flood risks can change rapidly due to weather, construction, and other factors. Always consult official FEMA flood maps, a licensed surveyor, and a licensed insurance agent before making regulatory, purchase, or construction decisions.
